The MoonBots 2014 competition is open for registration. Start of Phase One.
Registration closes at 11.59.59PM (Pacific Time). Teams must have registered and submitted their Team Biography, Team logo and consent forms.
Teams must have submitted their Video Essay and a Video Testimonial (meaning a good quote from someone who have seen the video) before 11.59.59PM (Pacific Time). End of Phase One. Start of Phase Two.
Announcement of the Phase One winners will happen on or around June 15. Twenty-five (25) Teams will proceed to Phase Two. All necessary materials for participation in Phase Two will be sent to the 25 teams.
Teams must have completed creating their Lunar Landscape, their robot and Game Play and have submitted a one-page document describing their Game Play. They must also have finished and uploaded a video showing their outreach to the public. (See rules for details). Five photos must also be submitted to the MoonBots website before August. The deadline for submission of the above is August 1 at 11.59.59 PM (Pacific Time).
The 25 teams will have a Live Mission Transmission with the MoonBots judges, scheduled individually with the Team Captains in this period of time. The judges will also vote and find the winners of the MoonBots 2014 Challenge.
Announcement of the Grand Prize winner and Runner up teams!
The Grand Prize - a trip to Hawai'i will be arranged for the winning team.
